I am so happy I read Kristina's blog and caught wind of this! As a 26-year old New Yorker (Staten Island does count!) it is frustrating that accessible art and the mixed media, craft, scrapbook movement hasn't really developed here or broken through the commercial barrier that scrapbooking is still synonymous with old or cheesy. I don;t believe that SOMETHING REALLY COOL is happening in NYC!!!!!! I'm always complaining about NY + scrap = nothing... I'm really excited!!! I live in Bergen County, but 20min Ferry from the City!
