My great friend Kristina Griffo came to the studio the other night to take some photos. She currently is going to school to become a nurse and just finished her third year at SUNY Binghamton . Every once in awhile we pair up for some fun and fantastic photo shoots. Here’s some highlights from our most recent shoot. Have some free time and want some fun photos? Come swing by. It’ll be a blast.

Congratulations to our MommyBites Summit Raffle winners

Congratulations to our MommyBites Summit raffle winners!
We had such a blast last week meeting and talking with everyone. Thank you so much to BabyBites and KiddyBites for hosting such a wonderful event filled with food, drink, and lots of information.
Our prize winners were chosen at random by our own collage artist Shannon Clyne who will be making the custom framed artwork for our grand prize winner (value $150) won by Lauren Sek. Shannon dug her hand into the hat and picked both winners. We also congratulate Lauren Rubinstein, the winner of our LadyBug package (value $99) with a no sitting fee photo shoot. What are the odds, two Laurens.
If your name was not chosen, we are still awarding you a gift certificate (expires 8/31/2010) for a complimentary photo shoot and free 4×6 print. Why? Cause everyone loves swag and we love MommyBites! Click here to print your gift certificate.
Please note: you must use the email given for the raffle. All certificates will be checked against the raffle entry forms. This gift certificate is for raffle entrants ONLY.

NYC Scrapbooking: Road Trip to Scrapbook Stores!
Hello PortraitBug blog readers!
Sorry, no cute pictures of smiling children in this post. I will post one or two or three tomorrow. This blog is on a more personal, calling all you scrapbookers out there note: In June, I am driving across the country with my best friend, starting in Massachusetts and ending in Seattle.
I am very excited to stop at scrapbook stores along the way.
Our route: Western Massachusetts, Montreal, Toronto, Buffalo (Niagra) Cleveland, Chicago, Milwaukee (for my cousins wedding), Madison, and then straight across – somewhere around the Nebraska South Dakota line, going through the Bad Lands, Yellowstone in WY, Idaho to Portland OR, and then up to Seattle. I am looking for any great store suggestions. Anything stores that are unique, or insanely big, or have great classes that we can stop at along the way. In general, I know the VT and NH stores so more around the middle of the country would be helpful! (or Canada). Thanks!

NYC Photography: Props!
I love to take pictures with funky props so I brought this Chinese umbrella into the studio to take pictures with! Asher, the store model, did a wonderful job posing with it. We pretended it was raining in the studio! You can book a fun photo shoot like this one any day, just bring your own prop of choice, and there’s never a sitting fee!
