Experienced Retail Store Manager Wanted

The Retail Manager of our fast paced photography and scrapbook/craft store will be a highly motivated individual who is dedicated to achieving the long term goals of the company. This person must have an entrepreneurial spirit and positive attitude that allows them to provide strong leadership and set a clear vision for the entire team.

Primary Responsibilities:

·       Setting the individual and collective sales goals as well as communicating the store weekly and monthly sales goals

·       Preparing store schedule

·       Conducting and oversee the training of all new employees as well as the re-training of existing employees when needed

·       Working together with staff to meet and exceed sales goals

·       Motivating employees

·       Overseeing all store operations

·       Administering employee evaluations and write ups

·       Confirming time cards, hours, and store payroll

Qualifications:

·       A passion for, and knowledge of photography and/or collage / mixed media / arts

·       5-7 years experience in retail sales with at least 3 years in a management role

·       Experience leading & motivating retail teams and proven track record of exceeding sales goals

·       Driven to deliver superior service by exceeding customer expectations

·       Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and co-workers

·       Demonstrated leadership skills, success in empowering and developing a team

·       Ability to plan and execute strategies and achieve goals

·       Able to work well as a team player in a fast-paced, energetic environment

·       Be a self-starter and use good judgment in all situations

·       Presents a professional image in appearance, words and actions
