How many people can we have in our group?
We are equipped to photograph up to 18 people at one time. If your group is larger than seven, we do require a minimum package purchase. Also, with groups larger than seven we require an appointment to be made so that we can allow enough time for the sitting.

Do you do retouching?
Yes, we shoot in digital format which allows us to retouch photographs to fit your needs. Please see our price list to view current pricing on retouch services.

Do you photograph pets?
Yes, adding a special family pet can make your portrait even more unique. Please make an appointment if you are going to bring a pet.

Do you take Business/Executive photos?
Yes, we take a verity of portraits for professionals. Whether you need images for business cards or advertising, our business portraits are easy, fast and affordable. Business portraits also include a CD image with a copyright release.

Can I bring my own props?
Please do! We welcome you to bring props or special items to your session.

Can I get a CD of my photos?
Yes, we have two options for CD purchases. One option is for a viewing CD that is available with a package purchase. This CD includes images suitable for E-Mail or use on a website. Or another option is for full images that are copyright released and can be reproduced.

Do I have to make an appointment?
Appointments are suggested, however walk-ins are welcome. Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes prior to your appointment to check-in. We will make every effort to start your sitting on time. If your will be late for your appointment, or if you need to cancel and re-schedule please call 212.600.4457.

When will my prints be ready?
All of the “sheet” size prints are done in about 15 minutes. Larger prints and personalized products like puzzles and t-shirts take 1-3 weeks to complete.

How good is the quality of the photographs?
Excellent! Our photographs are processed using a professional mini-lab, not an inexpensive “photo printer”. Inexpensive “photo printers” produce prints that fade in short time, similar to a home photo printer. NOT OURS!! We use Epson professional premium luster paper and professional inks that will give our prints an average display life span of one hundred years.

Do you have a Sitting Fee?
No, we do not have sitting fees for any of our studio sessions. We also require a minimum package purchase for groups of seven or more and outdoor sittings.

How many poses do you take?
We offer a more relaxed portrait session typically lasting 30 minutes, without any restrictions on the number of poses or photographs we take. As long as our subjects are happy and our schedule permits, if you want more poses we will take more!

Can I have some family and individual poses in one sitting?
Yes! With our studio you may split up a session to include some of the family and some of the kids in any combination you’d like. Keep in mind that with younger children the amount of time that we have to keep them happy and smiling is limited, it may be better to do them on different days.
